well...this is a japan manga...so they have a simmilar common sense...and seniority is important in japan...
It just sucks that they judge people by rank(or without one) without properly evaluating someones's skill.
The isekai authors ALWAYS use this to bring more shock n awe to the dumb european natives lol.
i do agree that you can't judge someone from his cover (in this case rank), but i disagree this sense they use because the author want to bring shock n awe to european natives, my reason is:
1. the author made this manga for japan natives reader cause its original language is japanese and i believe only minority european natives can read it.
2. this manga translated because someone find it interesting and share it with everyone...i even doubt translator have permission from author to translate it...

You don't need much credibility for hard labor.
You just gotta know how to do it, evaluation is necessary for new recruits.

anyways whatever, I still hate ranking systems that never evaluates, too many wasted talents/potential just to protect useless pride of a few.
