Haru might've felt like it was his fault because Shigure was killed for trying to escape town in order to protect the boy, Shiro, who was considered the group's property. Shigure knew too much about the Ichijou group so the group couldn't let him run away >< maybe Haru felt that if he didn't bring Shiro to Shigure, then Shigure wouldn't have tried to run and he would've just stayed with Haru (alive) even though Shigure'd still be monitored by the Ichijou group ><
...think his lover's death was his fault? What does it have to do with him and Shiro? It seems the lover's died bc he was in the Yakuza and just got caught up in some bad business.
