I had the same thought. Since Yellow Dragon said they met before, then sending back Dojin to the past. So maybe at that time Yellow Dragon didn't know him?
Yet if I remember correctly, I think the conversation Yellow Dragon had with the prince (the young form of him) implied that he tried to be with Dojin to so many times but all failed? I am so confused lol
I don’t know about this but I got a feeling that Yellow Dragon actually knows him because he’s been to Dojin’s world or have met him in a different time or whatnot, but Dojin doesnt know him but just like how Dojin went back to his world and met another version of YD or Yooshin, they kind of have the same disposition because in the incarnate world Yellow Dragon knows Dojin too well and has given hints in his dialogues but Dojin seems to be baffled, but YD was too endeared with him. And also you cannot just blatantly call your new emperor “love” right? It takes some sort of strong bond and great past. Am i making sense?
Damn... I really want yooshin to remember somehow. Maybe it hasn’t even happened yet..?
