Same here in the beginning i thought that it would be a story of revenge or of Ianna proving herself against Arhad but now its like every other reincarnation manhwa where the mc is in love or is together with the past lover/enemy and i was so on Ianna's side to get revenge but now shes doing things that, sure are nice and all, but pretty pointless and dont make any sense
I totally get how you feel. There was just so much of darkness that pushed the two to be rivals than lovers but the storyline right now feels extremely strange to that initial tone. It's too cotton candy like.

if u've been paying attention you'll notice that they both have a recollection of the past and right now they seem to be working hard in their own way to try and change that past where they had to kill each other. both their motivations right now is to someday be together without one dying from the other's hands like what happened in the past. i dont get how yall thought otherwise cause it is literally explicitly said by ianna at the start.

I know that, but that isn’t what I said. I just said their personalities have changed to an extent that I’m not so fond of them anymore. I loved Ianna’s hardworking and determined personality, and how she spoke only when necessary and involved herself only where she needed to be. But when Arhad is thrown into the mix she’s just being obsessive and kinda childish and throwing herself into all kinds of situations for the sake of just seeing what he’s up to. I thought that although she wanted a time when they could both stand together without conflict, she’d also value her interactions with friends. But as soon as she met him three years earlier, she’s only been focused on him really. It’s changed her character for me and I’m just not really digging it.

I really adored the early Ianna in this series. I found her really mesmerising and headstrong and loved how she held her own even when everyone stood against it. But I feel like she’s changed a huge amount recently along with Arhad, and it’s a little off-putting. She seems less humble, more vain and childish and Arhad’s also being unexpectedly soft. I really loved the vibe they gave off at the start as fateful lovers-turned-rivals, but now their interactions just leave me feeling disappointed and slightly uncomfortable.
