Yes she is a trash.It is okay to take time and accept things if they are difficult at first.But it is not okay to try to 'cure him' .It is not an understanding parent.She is just thinking about herself,like majority of parents do.But it is not her life.
Than why should she say such bad words to the lover from her son! He even cried! And than she called a strang Hotline! I just can't understand it! Why shoul she give her son such a hard time! I can understand that she is shocked but she overreacting! (just my opinion man!)

After a while, I'm sure she will accept them, she's a kind hearted and good woman who wants the best for her son, her reaction is just a typical Asian parent reaction, especially in Asia, most people are very close with their neighbors and society, and most parents/older people still have a hard time accepting gays, and they're very mindful of the people around them and what people will say, I'm sure she'll come around,its 2019 but most Asian parents are still like that, they're not like people in the West

second: the dad of Ziming is STILL WORSE! and it not easy to be a parent, no matter how much easy YOU THINK it is. yeas she did it wrong, but it is clear she doing it cause she think it the best for her child future and happeines. even if it's not true, it's very typical of parents to do. of course not all parents are the same, there is cool parents too. but it is still hard to accept for parents, has much annoying it is. I think she will learn her lesson in the end.
