I don’t get it either. People seem to express opinions about sex and relationships that belong in the 1950s. A time when everyone was supposedly pure, there was no sex before marriage, and no one ever got a divorce.
I think they were a bit peeved at how sa-in handled his relationship with the doctor. Coercing the doctor into sex and then making light of it afterwards is an asshole move in my opinion.
Dr is an adult. He could have said no and that he didn’t appreciate the unsolicited advance. There was also no agreement or discussion about what the sex meant before they did it, so Sa-in was free to air his honest feelings and the doctor was too. The dr decided it wasn’t for him and that was the end of it. It’s not like he forced a continuing situation onto the doc.
Being an adult doesn’t equate to being able to make logical decisions in a compromising position. Anyone would be disoriented when they woke up, add to that you’re being sucked off by someone who you have romantic feelings for, and sprinkle some seduction onto that and boom! Dubious Consent Given. I’m not saying Sa-In is a slut, the way he made light of the situation after the event was not okay, especially since he knew what the Doctor’s personality is like.
I start to wonder if people actually know what a slut is.
