Spoiler!! Aoi and Jirou are fated pairs. Aoi accepts it while Jirou refuses to “follow/be played” by destiny, so Jirou hates Aoi.
The story begins with Aoi’s father death and therefore he renders “useless” to inherit his father’s stuffs because he’s an omega. His stepmother also “kicked” him out, and his butler, Miyauchi, chooses to go with Aoi. They’re picked up by Jirou family as to be butlers.
Aoi works hard to be a good butler and upon seeing Aoi’s efforts, Jirou’s heart softens for a spilt moment only to be harden more so than before.
One day, Aoi is studying with Kudou but his first heat initiated. Kudou is also an alpha but is able to lock Aoi in a room waiting for help to come as he stands guard not letting anyone else entering the room.
Miyauchi comes by and takes Kudou away while assuring Aoi he will return with the suppressants. Miyauchi catches Jirou at the corner of his eyes and decides that he’ll let destiny plays its course with the fated pair as he “help” Kudou’s rut.
Aoi and Jirou has sex but no neck biting.
Afterwards, Jirou hates Aoi even more and decides that he’ll marry a female alpha. He has a date with her and realizes he has been wrong about “fate/destiny”. Jirou tells the female alpha that he is sorry because he chooses Aoi.
However, when Aoi heard that Jirou is planning to marry a female alpha, his heart is broken into pieces. Miyauchi asks Aoi if he would like to start a life together not as master and butler but as lovers.
Aoi of courses refuses because he says his destiny is with Jirou, and if Jirou chooses not Aoi, then he’ll just be fine seeing Jirou engulfed by the happiness of his decision to reject destiny, aka Aoi.
Jirou with his newfound perspective rushes to confess to Aoi, but Miyauchi lies to Jirou saying Aoi and he will be leaving after Jirou announces his engagement to the female alpha tmr because Aoi has “given up and chooses” Miyauchi as a lover.
The next day as Aoi work with a bittersweet anguish, Jirou drags Aoi into the podium and announces that he is planning to love and treasure Aoi only... and some other cheesy stuff.
