Almost all chinese romance novels and webcomics are like ghis... and if the girl is raped they see it as her fault... if she is abused by the male character it is somehow her fault... and she only get happines if she began to obey the man and make him fall in love with her even though he abused her!!!
I have seen several like this... one I abandoned because the guy raped the woman while she was drugged (his son drugged her and 9ut her in his father bed as a gift), she was mad but the guy said she has no reason to be mad, the kid didn't know what he was doing... I thoughr the kid put her in his father bed and the father decided to sleep in another room, but they show up proof he raped her and now her reputation was damaged except if she marries him...
And in these chinese novel men neber feel guilty of what they did to the woman, many times because they justify the rape and abuse as her fault!!!
And no matter how strong is the woman, they will began to depend of the male character in some point and become weak and in need to a.man help!!!
To be honest, the best romances with strong females in chinese novels I have seen are many times action novels for men... in some women are seen as equals to men, sadly also the worst situation female characters can be are in those same type of novels!!!
They teach girls that they can only have real happiness if they obey a man and all abuse they receive is their fault... that is why I stopped reading several chinese webtoons and novels, and the worse, some women comments that see in rape as something romantic and desired :(

Is it WebComics app? I was following several stories but had to stop reading them because it was abuse, rape, etc... and many romances stories have the same thing: the guy obligate the girl go out/marry him, there is another woman interested in him and think the main girl is guilty to take away her man, many bad things happen to the main girl and many times is the main guy who do the bad things, any error he and/or any enemy of the main character do they will say is the main girl.fault, and blablablabla!!!
There is a few that are really good and I still read them, no rape, funny story, strong girls, etc... there is always a moment they will depend of the main man, but the stories are good, sadly almost all Chinese romances uses the girl who sufer abuse/rape and realize she loves her abuser and the abuse stop when she began to obey the guy... and I cringe when the guy get mad if the main woman talk to any other man even if it is only to give an address!!!
Sadly I know very well this type of story, it is the same we see in the Telenovelas, specially those from Mexico!!!

İn novels man usually rape them... Not even we are in position to argue about early " censensual" relationship. They show rape as a normal,and reality forgiveable things. Horrible

Really shit!!! That mangaka must have serious mental problems to not see problems and even write them happy ending! You can right about rape story but you HAVE TO explain readers how disgusting, insulting, violation this is! They must punish so seriously and they must suffer and be regret what they did. Lots of potential abuser/raper read that stories and encourage themselves!!
The majority of romance novels/webcomics from China there is rape and almost always from the main male character!!! And the worst, the fans find it romantic or sexy only because the guy is handsome and rich...
Yeah,i remember when I said it is unforgivable to ended up with that character i think. They are not regret usually and worst part like you said "readers" try to defend them ! Because it is "love"!! Guys have mental issues and must go mental hospital but it is normal because he blinded by love. Or he had seen tradegies when he was child. No matter how bad environment you grow up it is not excuse for your bad habits. And for that readers part they are seriously poisoning by that mangaka. They are losing their sense of humanity
It fucks me up that those stories that are directed to young girls like me have this crazy psychopathic toxic and abusive relationships portrayed as love. WTF. I hated Li Lei from the start he was the same as Peo, acting like she was a fucking toy for him to play with, she is fucking fifteen years old what a pedophile, I was disgusted, but you know I thought she’d be enlightened and find out she doesn’t need anyone to feel happy/successful and that she’d beat the whole game but NO, she dates the creepy pedo because he ~protects~ her THE EXACT SAME WAY PEI DID and in the end? He rapes her TWICE and they’re still together? Society has a huge fucking problem on what is a healthy relationship. For fucks sake rape and abuse and control isn’t cute. Yes, you can want a kind of domineering guy, but someone who starts acting like your life belongs to them is just toxic and shit like this happens... wtf. I’m disgusted. I’ll stop reading.
