I gave up a lot of dreams when I got pregnant in college. But I never regretted that. I was able to follow other dreams, and had my parents for emotional support and babysitting until he was old enough for daycare, and with that I was at least able to get one of the degrees I wanted. And I made a decent career out of it. I think that depending on the granddad a bit until they are comfortable with daycare is fine. They can both follow their dreams still. Before they know it, the kid will be in school anyway.
