I thought his dad was going to be a snake when they were showing him being all gushy about his wife. But it seems like that was true. He really did appreciate her and ended up depressed for 2 years. He finally picked himself up in order to provide for his kids. I just so happens that he ended up falling in love. He denied it because it's def a sensitive topic. And ppl grieve differently. He found a way to move on, but didn't want to force his kids to move on at the rate that he did. It just ended up backfiring on him.
I don't blame the dad either. IDK if their culture has a mourning period like you HAVE to mourn for X amount of time, but I say he did nothing wrong except lie about it to his kids. No one knows the thoughts he's had those 2 years after his wife's death. It looked like a very low moment in life for him. And when he finally decided to live again, his remaining family is torn apart. I hope Suho's fam can reconcile.
Yeah, I thought the same. The father was really depressed after his wife passed away. If after two years of mourning he found someone else that could make him feel better and give him hope, there's nothing to blame. We all can say he lied to his children which is true but it seems more like something he did to protect them. Anyway, Suho couldn't accept it this lightly and he suffered too much. But we are talking about a 14 years old teen that had a really harsh moment not only because of his family's matter but also about a dear friend. I could not even imagine what would have been my reaction at THAT AGE after having all those tragedies upon me. TT TT
This chapter was heartbreaking. Poor kids. TT TT . I had thought Suho's father was having an affair out of marriage but it looks that he was already a widower when the affair started. It was harsh for Suho but I think there's nothing to blame if the father wanted to find a new dear one in his life.
