Well, I am a black female with really coily kinky hair and my whole life I have found it unattractive compared to hair that flows, every time you watch TV and theres a beautiful girl she never has "nappy" hair. Even famous black women wear wigs and weaves. It's made me and many other black girls develop a complex, so I am researching it. Hair is something I have to think about constantly, I must braid it and everything because even teachers have told me it looks unacceptable in it's natural state. I am researching the effects of such beliefs about black people's hair and comparing how black people feel about their hair vs other races, which is why I ask for your race.
