I thought I saw this on another translation... is it there in Chinese or not? Or is it just implied/obvious that the bullying scene was from the past? Also, what makes black studs less obvious than the studs He Tian gave him previously?

    Mo said in the previous chapter that he got his piercings 2 years ago, so yeah it follows that the bullying scene was from the past.
