I Don't have enough word to say how sad I am, like a lot of french citizen.
Our president just said that we will rebuilt Notre Dame, and ask the help of all talented people around the word. So… Yes it will be rebuilt but we've lost centuries-old paintings, La croix de Notre Dame, national treasures …
so nothing will be like before
The whole world is praying with and for France once again <3
I'm glad they are going to rebuild it, most of the original may have been gone forever but memory will surely last even longer than forever, Notre Dame will rise up beautiful and proud again, looking after Paris from her majestic height, long live the art!
I was and still am so shocked, truly...few things are as sad as losing a piece of history, and losing it by flames...but I'm glad it's gonna rise high one again!

Today, it marks a day in human history: most of the Notre Dame cathedral is gone, guys. Something that was meant to last forever, suddenly stopped existing. Now, I don't have any particular connection to France but I have ir for anything historical and any piece of art that pays an omage to beauty, and Notre Dame was one of those things. Most of the cathedral was rebuilt in the 19th century, so I bet they cab rebuild it again even more majestically, but what do you guys think?
