if this was 'a real life' situation i wouldn't be 'hooked' obviously, but because it's a manga i can freely say what i like and dislike about and why i found it interesting was because of the character development and the plot, usually you'd think that the mc ( forgot his name lol) would turn out to be a uke, you know those typical ones where nerd is cute/good looking without his glasses and the seme falls for him, well anyway it was just interesting

OK. But you know, tastes like opinions reflects also our values and convictions as a human, even if it's just fiction. For my part, I will never enjoy to see him sleeps or falls in love or end up with that guy, for the simple fact he had suffered so much because of that guy, and that healthy people can't like the one who had tormented them for so long (3 years!); it is a reflexe of survivance. If not, it's Stockholm Syndrome.
No, it's obvious that here the bullied one is the "Seme".
In most cases where the Seme "bullied" the Uke, even "rape" him, these Semes are just being pushy; for the most they are protective and we never see those Semes burn cigarette on the poor Uke or hit them.
Here the Uke is maybe a bit attractive, but he's not cute at all nor is he likable. He has a horrible personality and likes to torment others. This how he is. I can understand that this Yaoi is "different" from many, but that's all.

Sorry that my righteous trait saddens you. What's the most saddening is people like you who thinks that just because it is fiction we should accept it all, like accept a crappy and unrealistic plot story written by some authors who are cut of reality. The sad thing is that bullying exists in real life - like suicide because of that type of suffering -, and IRL also, like you, many people are just standing there watching without helping at all the victim/s, some even enjoy interiorly the scene. I have a neighbor like that who can see someone being beaten without moving a single finger. I wonder how they can sleep during the night.

You recognize reality. I know this is fiction, and even know it's a yaoi with bullying, lol. But it could have been better written, better developped, handled. The author has set a background, but whatever happens following it is too unrealistic and not credible at all.
English is not my first language, (I might've been rough), but what's terrible in this story is the lack of morals -like lack of empathy in some readers. The bully has done terrible and delictual things to people (not just the MC), but always got away. No punishment, no law, no morals... Better: for weird reasons he may end up with the MC, LOL!

A fiction is an imaginary story popped up of an author's brain (I also write stories, pretty dark), but this is not a reason for the readers to eat it all; it can't hinder also our heart or brain to function and to feel empathic with the MC. It's funny that you mention Stephen King, because if you really know their stories, there are crazy cases of murdering involving fantastic in there, but there are always a solid sense of morals and morality involved. The bad people always disapear in terrible cases in King's scenarios! Where's the morals in that bullying yaoi plot? Lol, if there were, it was forgotten or dumped by author-san. This is what I deplore: the nonsense of this bullying story and the lack of sense of certain readers.
Yaoi will remain a minor genre as long as authors serve us such plots.

I'm sure you are by far better people than our french friend here. It's ok to like a manga like that and there is nothing wrong with you. What is wrong tho is insulting people bc of their interests and tastes. Yes, you may judge a person based on their words, but then you are a superficial a-hole. What you are supposed to judge people by is the way they behave and spreading hate against real people is a lot worse than enjoying an interesting work of fiction.

There are a great amount of people here complaining about how the story turns and is bad developped by the author. Can't you even grasp that?
