he was supposed to die in that accident but was saved by San(goblin guy) ..but he is already registered as dead ..so he is somewhere in a state b/w life & death for now ..

I don't think he since he didn't die but because of the goblin, his soul and his body's connection were weakened. Hence, he's always at the brink of death but not dead.
So is he dead or not? I was confused by the possession part since they said he was on the death list and supposed to die but didn't
