bc the said character development was SUDDEN. it didnt get "destroyed" smh. when he saw the girl with lihuan, he was caught off guard because all his thoughts started to mix up again. yuyang will compose himself, he just needs to organize everything he feels a little bit more.

It doesn't matter. He did destroy the character development because after the so called character development, his attitude didn't change at all. And his strong resolve was destroyed by a mere look of Lihuan with a girl. If he got confused or doubted his feelings so easily, dont make a chapter showing him becoming all confident. Basically took one step forward and two steps back. At this state, Yuyang has not grown up at all from his realization from last chapter so last chapter was USELESS. You act like ohh because he's insecure AGAIN, it justifies this shitty writing.
The character development that happened in ONE chapter. YuYang has been denying his feelings for multiple chapters. I wouldn’t set my high expectations for him suddenly declaring his feelings for LiHuan that easily. I also wouldn’t try to change your mind about this because obviously you already set your own opinions on this. Can we please consider into account that YuYang who have previously been inlove with Lin Xiang got his heart broken bc Lin Xiang was inlove with someone else? LiHuan RARELY smiles. And whenever he did, it was always around YuYang. So imagine how YuYang would feel if he saw LiHuan smiles like that with someone else, and with a girl no less. YuYang is scared to admit his feelings because he afraid to get hurt again. Aren’t we all?
Anyway, I’m just going to wait how this whole shebang will work out. Hopefully it wouldn’t cause too much misunderstanding.
