Well... I dont know how much your experience is in the world of yaoi. But I have to say give it a out 3-5 years and you'll become an expert at it. This is coming from personal experience ;3
I wish i had that good of an imagination to just come up with BL afterlooking at one thing. I wish i had that skill to just ship tons of people irl in my imagination with amazing backstory and lovely fluff!!! <3
