Yes its fiction but fantasy always leaks into reality. If people are over exposed to ideas of rape and start to think "oh its ok to do that"
or if anything this leave a small spark idea in them then we have people conditioned to them. For us that are older, yes most know better but there are some people on this site that are around 12 reading this and we all know that some teens can be vulnerable to what they see. So its bad to have stories that romantisize rape all the time and make it seem ok to rape and drug others.

I started really being into the manga scene when I was about 16 and got really into yaoi. Now that I'm in my 20s I look back and see that I brushed over a lot of things and all I can say is "Oh shit, how did I ever think that was OK?" I have read stuff that I really shouldn't have and now have kinks that I wish I really didn't. Reading this stuff really does change how you think. This "it's just fiction" mindset is dangerous, because people just don't realize how much this stuff can unconsciously oneself even if you consciously know it's wrong. It's like someone smoking a pack a day and saying "I can quite anytime".
