I'll will try my best with making a good summary without spoiling anything major and to the best extent of my memory. Here it goes... Our main character Rood is a famous magician, but he is hiding his identity. In certain circumstances, he somehow gets a mission relating to help a child who is called a monster at school to enjoy school. It's like helping and protecting the boy-Lidusis. Rood is forced to attend school despite being a high ranking magician. He will have to go through many obstacles to hide his secret while learning more secrets about the people around him. We later learn that helping the Lidusis would lead Rood to learning a more sinister secret about mana, demons, etcetera (I'm not trying to spoil!!!>_<). Rood will have to fight something other than demons because of the uncovered truth to stop what's going to happen. The idea of humans and demons gets brought up just like the foreshadowing from the first chapter. Rood then learns the past of the origins of mana and himself. He sees the good and bad in humans and demons. The truth will be know on who he truly is.
