nothing.. neither her dad or brother got into trouble and no can is brave enough to betray them.. its Elle who was taken away by the mages and almost killed by them.. she got rescued at the very last moment but the shock made her emotionless and she was just barely living without soul for days until Emiel brought her back to sense through talking and all when she was about to suicide(subconsciously).this is where season 2 ends and season 3 starts with Elle with new powers!

I mean she was abused more than once by her suppose own mother to the extend of nearly dying multiple of time right and yet she did had a trauma but not to the point of being soulless !! beside she did already know that the wizards are trying to kill her !! It ties to the red haired boy she met at the hunt. He's the wizard slave, but he appears again in later chapters where he "gives" her feather thing. He gives it to her by breaking in on the Duke's property lol. Where she finds him and asks the guards to let him go.
And then you forget about the feather completely until a few more chapters later. She wakes up in the magician's tower because that feather was actually from the stupid wizard who wanted her. What's worse is that when he takes her, he leaves behind a pair of pink eyeballs sooo yah just look forward to how everything unfolds.

In the new season it was cleared out how Elle's power was more defined as a spirit user.. she indeed made a contract with a spirit and which made her a spirit user i guess.. though it had no control from her but darn she is powerful now! however that indeed made everyone so worried more when she had to basically live though hell for days (︶︿︶)＝凸
