not saying JP BL is bad but KR BL have more chapters, a more complete story and updating more frequently
tried of waiting 4 months(or even more) for a new chapter
tweeting birds never fly was my favourite BL series but 4 yrs later it is still ongoing and updating in a god-knows-when pace

Well that is obvious. Because Manhwas are webcomics, they are scheduled by the author unlike Mangas who are under an editorial/publisher just like books. It obviously takes more time

Also Korean is much more easier to learn than Japanese. (Chapters are usually shorter as well)

i just like stories to be longer so that i can immerse within their adventures
most JP manga ends with 4~5 chapters which makes the plot harder to be developed
whenever you start to like a character you are going to say goodbye to him, which is very sad

I just realized I keep replying to your questions lol.
But yeah I enjoy longer stories too, but quantity doesn't always equal quality. Speaking of... have you read ''Love Mode''? It's a yaoi manga. One of the best out there in my opinion and it's very long
