so you are not ok with someone physicaly forcing someone but you are ok with somone emotionally forcing someone ?
Because however you try to sugarcoat it Nao is forcing his feelings and person to Onodera and doesnt seem to understand the word no. I
like him with Takano because they do share something strong and both have hurt each other, who hurt who more or who has a more contempt behaviour is not the issue.
If i was looking at it realistically I wouldnt want anyone in this trio to end up with someone from this group dynamic.
I agree with you :) Nao is forcing himself on Ritsu while Ritsu already told him it will be impossible between them. Nao loves to play troublemaker in Ritu and Takano's relation because his pride felt hurt when he got rejected by Ritsu. He is playing with Ritsu's past trauma in England to revive his good days he spent together. It's impossible for him to change Ritsu's heart ; he loves Takano even they both hurt after many times, their feelings stay unchanged.
I actually agree with you and are you are right nao and Takano have both been manipulative in the worst of ways. @artmagus and wicketginger . Takano has been emotionally and physically manipulative for years my problem is the authors consistently putting Onodera and Takano together despite how toxic they are together same thing with some of the other couples in the sekaiichi universe. I actually don't think he should end up with either of them but with the way most mangas go he'll have to choose someone and all the rape chapters( they've been many since the beginning) and emotional abuse from both men just can't anymore with any of his love interests . Thanks for seeing it a differebt way!
To be fair, the "forcing my partner and forcing my unrequited feelings to the MC trope" of the author had me go here we go again.
As you said, in the fiction world few dare to leave the MCs to heal on their own and if meant to be it will.
One good point another person made was the effect of domestic readers had on the author.
I've been reading this manga for years and in its final chapters, and I'm heart broken to say this, I'm decidedly team Nao. Takano has been violent and the Romanticed rape a few chapters ago was the last straw. He can't always respond with aggression and Onodera saying Takano is gentle is the direct opposite from what he's been saying from 80% of the comic. Takano has lessons to learn from Nao about patience and anger management. Not like Onodera is perfect tho but that's a story for another day
