Yan, the character, is responsible for what he did. I think Yan wanted Bashie all along He would have been a thorn in Fei's side and would continue to be no matter what happen.
Yeah, you are totally right. Many of us tend to forget that Mikhail whatever his intentions could not predict those events.

People on this board , I have a question:
I read Fei's lightnovel while ago and there's something I don't remember so well. Fei assumed it was Mikhail backing up his brother, but is there a moment when his brother or someone else tells exactly that? I remember Fei saw all those cases with the printed letters of Vladivostok, he always assumed there was Mikhail behind but at this point I have reasonable doubts. Maybe it was the rebels helping Yan and not Mikhail and his men. What do you think?
