Well, that was kinda... underwhelming. I liked the music tho, mainly for the last scenes and the change in the mood; just like we didn't really see what happened to Bum, the music just fainted.
Now, I want to point out two things that aren't related to Sangwoo and Bum's ending but in general: 1) Why Koreans are depicted as such rude people in K-fiction? Ugh, srsly... 2) What's wrong with the Korean language ffs? First the hospital's name was misheard then Sangwoo's twice! I found these situations ridiculous...
Anyways, I wanted to point out some trivial points about the ending... I think everything's was already said about both Sangwoo and Bum. I always say that I liked KS because of what it is, something twisted and sick. So I never waited for a good ending, it was impossible imo. I liked Sangwoo and I could feel sad for him when we found out his mother was a monster. He still was a serial killer so there's no way I thought he deserved nothing but going to jail, to a mental hospital or death. That doesn't mean I can't feel some empathy for him at some point, and for the love of God, it doesn't mean that I'd be as empathetic with a irl psycho, even if I find he had a sad past. People need to stop mixing real life with fiction. They also need to stop being extremist because, ngl, I don't get people who can't feel not even a bit of pity for his character nor people who would defend him as if he wasn't a damn psycho murderer. I can't get people who was expecting for him to have a happy ending nor people who talks as if he was real anyways...
About Bum, I'll just quote Seungbae: "Oh Sangwoo smashed his legs with a hammer and slashed his skin with a knife. Not to mention the beatings. If he still loves him after that, that's not love. It's an illness." - And that's an understatement. What he was trying to say was on point anyways.
Btw, the part that I actually found the most important about this last chapter is the contrast between how Bum has been treated all his life (he even mentioned it when, again, it seems like everyone is rude af) and Seungbae feeling bad at calling him stupid, wanting to apologize and showing he cares about him in general. He never saw him as Sangwoo's accomplice, he never blamed him for anything and he got Bum happened to be mentally ill (sadly, Koogi didn't handle that part well... I mean how the police apparently will let Sangwoo in some room with no custody, Bum with no treatment like wtf).
Everything I can say is that I really hope Seungbae finds happiness.
(oh right, about those panels of Bum recalling when he and Sangwoo had sex: Man, how much I hate Koogi had to draw him as if he was a kid. This webtoon is disturbing but for me, that was my main pet peeve)
