Umm its shounen genre, in others words its marketed and made towards and for boys, teenagers at that. If you are tire of this type of story thats your head telling you to stop and move on. There is still the seinen genre which is more marketed towards older men, anyway if you are a girl these aren't for you so complaining is beyond poitnless

That's not how it works. Are you saying every guy is interested in watching some horny dude over and over again, cuz that ain't true. Also, stop being sexist and stereotyping the genre. Just because it's aimed towards a certain audience doesn't mean it's okay for it to be shit. Shounen means stuff that guys tend to be more interested in. Like sports, action, fighting, etc., but that doesn't mean it's only meant for guys since girls obviously like that kinda stuff as well.

Why do I have to be a guy to enjoy the shounen genre? As PENF942093 said, just because it's targeted at a certain audience doesn't mean that I can't be into it. I do enjoy some shounen genres like One Punch Man, One Piece, and Black Clover, etc.
My point was that sometimes the shounen genre can have reoccurring tropes, like the horny mc, friendship makes you stronger, first lame to strong, etc. and it'd be much more interesting for me at least, to see the female mc get stronger and find her place in this new world.

if you want a female MC then you should try shoujo. Like you just mentioned with shounen not all shoujo is blushing girls and flowers. There are a lot of shoujo manga with powerful female MCs.
part of the shounen genre is that the primary target audience is male so to appeal to males the MCs tend to be male. Same with shoujo
(but with girls).

Honestly, I've found some really great series with male and female protagonists, that don’t really fit into the 'shounen' genre that still involve great action. Like solo leveling, Adonis, light and shadow, etc. which is probs where I should be looking instead.
I don't really want a male protagonist especially, it’s just that with this series, I feel that having a male protagonist would lead to the same recycled story that's been used many times before.

things like shounen and shoujo are just tags they dont define a series. it's just that the majority of stories with these tags have a lot of similar aspects. i dont define anything by it's genre alone. I can just as easily enjoy solo leveling as i can akatsuki no yona. I love them both regardless of whether they are tagged shounen or shoujo.
in the end the stereotypes most commonly found in each respective genre are there to make a series sell after all. that's why we all find it so refreshing when something more unique comes along.
I really really really really really really really really really REALLY HOPE. THAT. This story will focus on the girl....seriously it'll be so annoying if this focuses on the dude. Cause it's literally the same type of story over and over again in the shounen genre. But I'll stick around for the girl.
