No, it doesn't look like that at all? It looks more like the reason why she doesn't want to get into romantic relationships is being explained: after all, the '3rd wheel' is the guy her former friend liked. Thx.

until the annoying 3rd wheel appears. And, of course, it just has to be one of Hotaru's old classmates. It sure looks like he's going to try to split up Hananoi and Hotaru. There'll probably be something in Hananoi's past that he'll remember and use try to cause Hotaru to be afraid of Hananoi.
