Well, I'm not 100% sure where this plot is going, but it may be that dojin was sent to the past. Therefore, the events unfolding now are part of the memory he had forgotten when he first meets the yellow dragon in early chapters. But this is only my theory :D
The current dragon look-alike has absolutely no memory of the other world, and some of the supporting characters are parallel to the spirits of the other world (granny = mouse spirit, pet pig = pig spirit). Dojin seems to be the only person to remember everything.
But then again, this is only the beginning. Based on what I've currently read for Blood Link, this author likes to go back and forth with dark-hearted and light-hearted storylines. I think that Tale of Yellow Dragon is going to drag out the angst for a bit longer, but hey, what do I know?
So, all we can do now is sit back and wait for the newest chapters to be released :D

So i have no idea where this story is going!
In the ch 8 it was said that they met back in the kid's world and that he might not remember but ive read ahead and once the dragon dies, the kid returns to his world
Then he meets the version of the dragon in his world.... so is that it... does he not go back like wth is going was the beginning just a prelude to his relationship with this guy in his own world...
