I like it but...

I like this. I mean, anytime I see a reverse harem, it's likely that I'll like it. However, they REALLY need to stop with making the heroine be incompetent.

Why could the heroine be someone who is confident in her music, and impress the guys around her with her talent and ability to stand on equal if not just underneath them in footing?

Like, how did she get accepted into the school in the first place if she can't really play music or can't really understand or develop complicated music compositions. She doesn't need to be on the same level as the others, but she needs to at least be talented enough where her overseas application would've been accepted. I'm sure they don't just let any random joe, moe, or larry off the street into the school so I'm like... ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

Like I get that they need some excuse to basically exposition dump on us about the composers the characters are based off of, but can't they find a more organic way in doing so?

IDK, I just always feel some sort of way when the heroine is supposedly is talented enough to get into a super special awesome program, only for them to be "incompetent" at best and have to have their hands held by the Love Interests.

Yeah, authors of reverse harem and shoujo really need to find the balance between "Useless Bint" and "Mary Sue," cuz they really struggle with it ( ̄∇ ̄")
