I’m totally like Mu. My ex would be cruel and emotionally abusive in order to feel safe. Also testing to see if I really loved him and that it was unconditional. If it wasn’t for getting pregnant and not wanting my daughter to grow up seeing her mom treated like shit, I don’t know if I would have left him. I would have ended up like his mom (since he learned his coldness from his dad) whose an absolute nervous wreck who apologizes for everything.
Fun fact: i've been like Maru and i stopped dating. I am a bully and because i am very insecure i asked my bf at the time not to spread the word around about us and he actually asked me if it was because i was ashamed of him [but it was the exact opposite lol] and i hated that i made him question himself and i realized that i am toxic and unhealthy for my partner. So yeah, not a fan of Maru
