I mean he actually did that to himself. He controlled them and broke their hearts, used them selfishly. It broke both of them and they went to crazy drastic measures to have him because of it. In the end it was all because of how he treated the two of them that caused everything. This manga was a representation of "All actions have consequences", you shouldn't be selfish and use people as tools. The mother, I agree didn't deserve any of it. She was unfortunately caught in the middle.
I feel for Kyunghee, and his mother. He doesn’t deserve this or what he has to go through. His mother didn’t deserve any of it either. What evil, controlling men... I thought Kyunghee was going to comit suicide.
