I like how many in the light novel community do it.
You have your MC, (main character) and your ML (male lead). And while the MC is usually the exclusive bottom in BL stories, it doesn't call him out that way.
Not that uke/seme, shou/gong, aren't still used, but less frequently.
Ikr? I get you won't remember the names always but reducing them to just who "gives" and who "takes" in bed and to only care about that is, again, disturbing...

I love talking about sex dynamic in BL but damn, the fact that 99% of the comments are just people wondering who's "the seme" and who's "the uke" (let alone people using those words to refer to characters) is so disturbing...
But oh well, I'm really enjoying this story, is so sweet and I really like how things are developing between Izumi and Kashiwagi. It's hard to find good one-shots too because everything usually feel rushed (it's only naturally after all, there's no so much pages for so much development) but the pacing of this one is nice. And I'm quite liking the MCs and I love Izumi's t-shirts & hoodies and how Kashiwagi always notice them, lol.
