Maybe it's because some comics attract different kinds of people.
From my manga fans communities, majority of mangago reader is female, so that is one of the reason you will frequently see yaoi @ shoujo genre manga most of the time at this website and have active comments there. This kind of manga usually targeted to male, (some female too) . As for male readers it seem like they prefer to read it at other website such as mangahere, mangkakalot, or mangafox. So if you interested, you can have a look at these website to join at their comment section (like me)(=・ω・=)
I just realized this comic has very few comments. I'm sure a lot of people are enjoying it, how come some comics bring people to comment a lot and others don't?
