Idk if I'd make sense to you or not, but probably the author was in a mood to change the concept of demons and angels, or rather show a different side, just like all of us have good and bad sides kinda thing.
You are getting loads of shit for this, but I totally agree with you.
"Don't like, don't read" is a weak shield for people who are afraid of critizising or thinking critically about the media they're consuming.
You can like this manga, but at least be honest about what is going on and what the seme is doing.
