aquarion evol maybe?? O.o i remember watching a part where mikono (the girl lead) was saying sorry unconsciously to amata/kagura (male lead) because she couldnt return his feelings in their past lives? then the guys proceeds to hugging her... sorry if its not this tho!

I only remember one part of it which is the female lead character was crying and saying sorry to male lead character and then he hugged her to stop her from crying.
