If it was the norm from the get-go it wouldn’t be weird coz we’d be used to it.
While a rl omegavers seems interesting in theory, and it does. The amplified “animal urges” the alphas and omegas have to reproduce would be the rub. And there the possible oppression of Omegas, some stories they are even locked away coz they are so rare. If that world did exist, I hope i’d be a beta haha
