Id like to disagree. Blaming Nemu is pointless. He's ntrovert and reserved. Maya's his first. He's studios type of person and he is not interested in this before Maya did something during their hs days. I am not blaming Maya either. Maya was under the impression that he's doing his best for Nemu. Working hard and doing what Ruka Is asking. Nemu would trust Maya in doing this, he'll be patiently waiting, he will understand what's Maya's current situation.
What change is that one single conversation he had with Ruka. Whatever he is plotting and requesting has no malice with Maya but it is killing Nemu because of that phrase he said. "One day your love will become air and even air can go stale." And knowing that ruka will do what makes Maya happy and Nemu is well aware how Maya likes ruka's personality.

for Nemu, Maya easily gets bored and can ditch him anytime Maya wants. They were classmates for chrissake. And then there's Junta who said something as well about maya. And he experienced it himself. So why blame him?

what needs to be done is for Maya to figure out what Ruka said to Nemu and to re assure Nemu how much he loved him. He already said I love you to Nemu but in his state right now, it wasn't felt deeply. he said I love you to Maya but Maya can't feel it as well coz he thought Nemu was pressured.

This happened before, forgot the chapter. But they talked things out. Because Maya is aware what happened. But now how would Maya resolve this by not knowing what Was told to Nemu by the the very person he trusted.
