Altough I really love this manga and the pairing, I agree on 100%. When I read the part when Ken said "dont walk behind me, walk next to me" and Kirara got really happy I was like wtf, he's like an abused puppy who gets happy when his owner decides to throw him a rotten bone. It's really annoying because he's sincere and even a little rude with everyone (he even disrespects his own mom a lot, it makes me unconfortable), but he's a totally pushover towards Ken. And I hate when Ken tells him to shut up while being intimate, the ONLY good thing about it is when you think about the situation in a sexy way (lol).
I love kid Ken. My heart melted when Kirara remembered when they were kids and a suspicious man was talking to him and Ken appeared shouting his name out with a serious and worried face, and them told him to walk together after school to protect him. I hope the actual Ken comes back to his past self.
Ohhh and about the plot, I really hate when a story is mostly about a misunderstood AND the reader KNOWS about it and keeps on cheering on the characters to solve it, but the characters keep on not using their heads and on making stupid choices, and the story goes dragging on and on even though the misunderstanding is not that complex.
In this case, the seme is like "He likes my brother and I hate it" and the uke is so "I like him but he hates gays and he doesn't like me, he's like killing time with me too" BUT they keep on kissing and making out like crazy. What are they then? Kissing friends? The worst is when Kirara is like "he hates gays but we kiss a lot, I cant understaaaaand" :p
Oh god I just couldn’t agree more, you just said my mind.
Tbh, I wanted to state it in my comment how the uke keeps on calling his mom an "old hag" even while having a totally normal conversation as if he has given his mother a nick name like wtf?
And he's so annoyingly clingy I can not. It's not like I hate characters who tends to persue their love on a serious note but dude, you gotta stop to a certain level because you gotta have respect for yourself.
Kirara is basically - yeah i know you hate homos and you don't like me, play with people's feelings to kill time, kiss me and suddenly get all forceful and then blame it all on me that i asked for it but please, can i get your number even though you refused? please please please? and i know you're supposed to give me an explanation for your actions and reflect on it but instead you'll definitely ignore me in the morning but who cares, i will always say hi to you first and go along with it.
Seriously dude, when Kirara gave that hurt expression and said "So you can do it with people you don't like too, huh?" and Ken stayed silent, I thought this was it. Finally some character development. But lol jokes on me.
The next morning Kirara to Ken : Sup?!
Me : (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Well if you gonna judge their actions based on their age in a Yaoi manga, then none of these sexual stuffs and playing with people's feelings makes any sense in the first place. They are only 15. And in that case, everything can be forgiven as long as they're young doesn't matter if they actually reflect on it or not. Nothing left to analyze on a plot, everyone's young so they can go on doing whatever they want we can't really judge because they are all confused.
Like I said, the characters aren't gonna change no matter how much I complain so I'm just stating my opinion on it just like everyone else does. And I've dropped it anyways so at this point, it doesn’t really matter.
Sorry but no matter who the main characters are, I fail to act biased.
I hate both Ken and Kirara. And this plot is irritating on a whole new different level. Why?
Ken :
- Says he "hates" homos yet still going on recklessly making physical contact with the uke. The only response he gives while the uke resists is "Shut up".
Clearly says he doesn't like the uke yet gives fucked up logics when the uke asks legit quistions like why is he doing this if he doesn’t like homos, on top of that, doesn't have feelings for him? Everytime Ken's reponses were " You don't hate it do you" or "if it bothers you, let it bother you" and "you asked for it".
What the actual fuck?
The uke's so fuckin' backboneless that even after being treated this way, he was always the first one to approach Ken and Ken kept on ignoring him on first sight even though he was the one at fault and needed to give proper explanation for his actions. He didn't even deny it when the uke said " So you can do it with people you don't like too huh?"
And not to mention his indifferent behaviour even after playing with tons of girls feelings (it almost felt like the author tried to cover up or justify this fuckboy attitude of his by making the last girl make the bad guy but lol, that doesn't make any difference)
Just how irritating a character can get? It's possible that you might actually hate homos but now your own sexuality is being questioned so you're frustrated. But in that case, aren't you supposed to think things over and sort out your feelings for Kirara instead of making baseless physical contact with the uke?
Kirara :
- When he piercered his ears and gave that serious look, I seriously thought he was finally gonna try to get over Ken and start a new. But lol, only in looks. I know you're in love but god, don’t you have the slightest bit of self respect?
He kisses you but doesn’t give you any explanation why he does it, also admits he doesn't like you and hates homos. Yet how can you so shamelessly go on fanboying over him, approaching him first every fuckin' single time (when Ken acts like he doesn’t fucking care) , giving him yearning looks and "asking" him to suck your nipples?!! Like what?
I thought he's gonna get serious for real when he realized "oh so he's also just killing time with me" and Ken didn't deny that he can do it with people he doesn’t have feelings for but LOL, in my dreams. Kirara really surprises me at how backboneless one can be.
If it wasn't for the "finish it once you start it" habit, I wouldn’t have read it up untill now but yes, I'm dropping it. Just got mentally frustrated reading this, nothing else.
