It's not about reading the notes. Sometimes it feels as if there's gaps in the stories or time skips with no explanation.
It doesn't mean that the story is bad.
Also, It's kind of useless to get upset about people not understanding, it's not as if they don't want to... (￣∇￣")
I mean, I'm not trying to shit on the story, but if the translator needs to put notes in order for people to understand the story, then that alone is proof that the story is hard to get or confusing.

how can everybody be so confused about that story!! i can't understand what you're talking about, there's nothing complicated to comprehend about that story. even the translator explain what's going on ... just focus on the lines and the translator notes that's it.
