I like your comment. It cleared up some confusion I had with the stories title and the story itself. You're also right in this world where hormones and pheromones rule, love is an illusion. Which is why the story is tilted that way and why Dojin and hyesung relationship started out so rocky. At first I was very frustrated with their relationship and how it was resolved, but now I see the author portrayed it that way to show this world's issues and what is considered normal. For example, we know that omega have it very hard from hyesung trying to find a job, the protect omega protest and hyesung mom relationship with his dad. Now there is that omega who lives will and I assume in a healthy relationship but I think she reflects the minority and not the majority that are mostly in the sex industry, have poor work conditions in normal jobs or homeless, and deal with a lot of assault but can't do anything, but run away because society doesn't care about them. All omegas can do is except how society treats and views them by being content and excepting their faith. Although, I think this is going change because Hyesung is a math genius omega and with his stubborn personality will make society see that omegas are not a nuisance or more stupid and only good for sex. That they can be as good as betas or even better then alphas.
This is something that can happen in real life... except the male getting pregnant. Hyesung seems awkward because of what happened in the past. Dojin is trying his best to keep his most beloved person. He pursued him relentlessly that it even ended up with forcing himself in him. Then the baby was born thanks to Dojin's pleading to Hyesung. Then things develop in a good way, Hyesung seems developing feelings for Dojin. And the determined Dojin is giving his all to make the mother oh his child stay. But then it was the time of giving birth and suddenly Hyesung disappeared. Dojin searched for him desperately. Then he sort of reflected in his behavior this past months. Realized to let the boy go if he (Hyesung) really doesn't want him (Dojin). So when Hyesung was caught by Dojin when he (Hyesung) came to stalk them (Dojin and baby). He gave Hyesung a choice, to stay with them or to leave. He also officially confessed his feelings to Hyesung. Hyesung was shaken. And he leaved when dawn came (after doing the deed). Then he realizes that they formed a knot. He can't get it up with someone (am I right?) and there is a sort of longing for Dojin in his soul. A knot can only be formed if both parties are willing. So although he didn't confess yet nor we knew if he loves Dojin, at least there is a proof that at some point, he also have feelings for Dojin, even if it is not love, he was willing to be Dojin's partner. This, I'm sure have crossed your minds.
What I'm trying to say is, in an omegaverse story where hormones and pheromones (they're kind of similar?) ruled, rape is inevitable, much more a confusing one where the other party, although was forced, but later on was willing (where the other party is confusing). Well, not all omegaverse involved rape, but at least in this story, it seems normal? (sorry if I have offended someone in my comment). Err-- It means that in a world where hormones and pheromones rule, love is an illusion, as everyone and even the destined pairs gets bonded because they are sexually attracted with each other. Love can come later, it's up to the pair. But of course, there are some who can not just yield to their sexual desires and form those bonds, there's some exception here and there, but not all can resist. ?? I'm getting a headache...
PS: I didn't read the comments above so if you think I have offended you and think that I'm spouting nonsense, please forgive this lowly one... (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
