Just as I was thinking it might be an aneurysm and I need to go to the hospital it stopped hurting. I had popped a headache pill and it suddenly kicked in.
It freaked me out so bad I went to the doctor a few days later. I was given some migraine pills and told to report back if I had another like it.
Never had.
I treat my migraines with 1 Tylenol (500mg) and 3 Ibuprofen (200mg) every 4 to 6 hours. It creates narcotic effect with being addictive.
Tl;dr it was not that far fetched to take him to the hospital.
Oh no, I didn't mean it like that. I just said the way they make this type of plot is very similar and it's funny that more often that not it's something simple.
I get that. It's just, for me I instantly thought he might be having an aneurysm or a really bad migraine and in either case doctors tell you to go to ER even if it turns out to be nothing big because you never know and it might be too late if you wait.
Still, the poor baby suffered a wickedly bad migraine brought on by sleep deprivation and bad eating habits.
I read one where the uke collapsed suddenly from stomach pain, and of course the seme rushed him to the hospital; only to find out his diagnosis was basically blue balls. In this fictional yaoi world his sperm has built up and collected in his stomach bc he hadn’t jerked off. So of course the only answer was for him to be ravished by the seme. What made it funnier was the translators note that this isn’t actually a thing. Just a plot device invented by the mangaka to get the uke fucked.

Really, it cracks me up everytime one of the protagonists gets suddenly sick and they hurry to the hospital only for it to be something minor and they just have to spend the night together. It's so damn cliche but works everytime. Someday Imma gonna use this method to see if it works (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ also I just know something's gonna go wrong at the wedding
