
Shoujo actually doesn't mean hetero romance, I'm pretty sure it just translates to content directed towards girls(correct me if I'm wrong cuz I don't speak the language). Basically the same way Shounen is content directed towards boys. It just happens to be that most manga's labled Shoujo happen to be sappy romances, but technically as long as it's ment for a mainly female audience its can be a Shoujo.

Thank you for the warning It's not that I complained though, it's just personally I expect a guy x girl when I read shoujo. I forgot that shoujo manga is everything which aimed for young girls, so yaoi can be included in shoujo genre too haha (well, yaoi should have for mature woman, but who doesn't secretly read porn when underage?)
I feel confused when there's shoujo and yaoi tag being put together haha
