You see, if you agree on the concept that love and sex is not the same, you can maybe understand it. Watching your Partner having sex with another Person (as long as there is no love) can be extremely erotic. You can see him visually in angles you cannot see if you both are fucking. Plus he might do Things with the other he does not do with you - which gives you even another angle!
I think men and women are thinking differently about sex. Men can consume sex like a drink, for women there is usually much more involved. So men can see sex apart from love.
I don't agree with your pov, I'm a woman and I think as your type of man, sex and love are totally different from each other. And then there's my boyfriend that thinks as your type of woman.
I think there are more men that separate sex and love than women, or at least they are more open about it since they get judged way less, but its not really man vs woman thing, its more to the individual person.
