It's cause it's the classic yaoi trope of fight and make up with sex and the bypass showing any actual plot or character development by just saying it happened. My favorite version of DG was him shutting Jiwon down in the rain, he finally stopped being a pushover, and my favorite version of Jiwon is from when he showed DG his broadcast room cause he thought DG would want to see it, he's nice in such small ways and horrible in all the big ways.
