Ive heard many people say linux is better than windows but i dont know since I've never used it. however, its not very popular and also not really supported by developers so i don't think you will be able to download many apps/games onto the computer. If you are just surfing the internet i dont think it really make a difference

Well that's kinda of sad since I like some BL games but I think I can live without. Mostly I surf on internet and buy mangas online, that's why I'm worried about safety. Thank you!
yeah no problem! also to answer your second question. its probably true that linux is less likely to be infected since viruses are mostly made for windows, so there are less viruses designed for linux and therefore it won't get infected as much.

I will buy a new notebook and I found a cheap one but the system is not Windows but Linux Ubuntu. Can anyone explain what's the difference? I read somewhere that in Linux is harder to be infected by viruses but it's more difficult to use? Is it true? I'm really noon so please help me? Thanks a lot!
