yaoi is all men, bara is like older muscly men
It’s a difference in art style. Bara tends to exaggerate mens’ body while yaoi only includes natural buff bodies.
Usually bara has only big, hairy, muscly men unlike yaoi which has prettier, skinnier boys/men. Bara is typically made by and for gay men, yaoi is usually for women by women
I am confused with these tags. I once read that bara is basically homosexual sexy stuff, but isnt yaoi the same?
