Perhaps they were assistant before? It happens a lot that the assistant or students would pick up some of the drawing technique/style

Yeah. I thought I was the only one who noticed it. Their art style looks similar.
Am I the only one who things the characters look like from Sakuraga Mei Sensei work?? Sempai here looks like Aikawa from Mujihi Na Otoko!
