I didn’t root for Masami in the beginning as well but then I found out that Masami’s whole life revolved around putting others first, just like what happened between him and Kanako. Like Ayumi said, this was the first time Masami ever wanted someone, the first time he actually chose for himself. And we can all see that Haruka couldn’t resist Masami, cause Masami is the one he really wants. And now that they have mutual feelings for each other and is currently happy with the presence of one another, I think that’s the best ending for their story. Ayumi is a great man, but I think Haruka saw him only as a trustworthy friend and that’s better than choosing him half-heartedly, only for them to get hurt in the end.
Haruka end with Masami?! When he had a chance to to had healthy relationship with Ayumu, he rather choose married men? Really lame idea for an ending :P
