Why say "Stockholm Syndrome"? Bum was already in love with Sangwoo and that was the reason he was stalking him; But "Stockholm Syndrome" happens after one is captured/kidnapped, not before that.
Because he tried to run away many times? When Sangwoo hit him with the bat, Bum tried to run away. The first chapters of S1 were all about how Bum tried to escape. He tried to poison him, didn't work, he feared trying to cross over the line because Sangwoo would hear him, then he decided to leave in Chapter 7 and tried to escape in Chapter 8 with his crippled legs but was beat up, brought in against his will and then tortured. Then in Chapter 15 he told people that he was kidnapped, didn't work. Since nobody believed him and his legs were still fucked up, he was forced to stay with Sangwoo who then planned some girl's death so Bum would stay with him and not go the police when his legs "healed".
I dont think in whole history there was example like Bum WHO was already in love with their captor. I'm sure that it's mile complicated than SS.
