I would agree the better term for what we are seeing is sexual assault. But with my point is that it’s not just this manga, all the other times when it is rape, the same thing happens. People just despise the word rape but be loving reading it. It doesn’t make sense.
“the seme on one kick would toss the uke away but he’s enjoying so” that’s the mentality people justifying rape would say, just saying. “he’s not resisting so he must be enjoying it too”. Anyway though, it’s no one’s fault they’re thinking that way. It’s the authors who have done such a poor job at representing rape that something like “the seme on one kick would toss the uke away” is a passible excuse to say it’s not rape.
I kinda agree .. but it's just fiction, no one is really hurt n the author haven't done a poor job or whatever, they intentionally made it look like a ridiculous kind of assault... they made it like that cuz real rape is way more terrifying
in this manga it's kinda sex play, don't make a serious problem outta this one cuz there are so many disgusting rape comics out there, you really wasted your time writing this..
I'm sorry if i'm wrong in any way tho
Yes, you are wrong. I'm not wasting my time. I'm just stating what I see. Just as easily as you can comment "the uke is cute" I can comment "the uke is forcing him".
The word rape is somehow forbidden but people love reading rape. Does that make any sense to you? Why does calling something rape anger so many rape readers?
Why are there so many people angry because someone called it rape and double standards? Is there some problem with that? Where’s the rule plastered on this website that says “one who sees rape must sftu to preserve the peoples’ delicate feelings”
What’s fascinating with this isn’t that people often call out rape, yaoi in general is a genre feeding off rape, rape is embedded into our bloodstreams, we are used to rape, it’s not like rape disgusts the majority of us, but what’s really fascinating is the hoard of angry people STILL telling people to NOT call it rape. To NOT mention it. To NOT complain that it’s rape because “omg it’s not rape. He was blushing and enjoyed it in th middle”. To GET OVER IT. Now that’s where the money is at. Despite enjoying rape, not many people want to own up to it and instead become offended when someone calls rape.
To the people who are justifying the uke is not raping the seme. Sure, okay. Let’s go with that. He’s only sexually assaulted the seme thus far, with a hint of attempted rape. Let’s see if he puts the seme’s dick in his butt.
