Well technically speaking, Lucas is the better love interest to Athy who was 20+ years old when she died. Because to have a love interest with Ijekiel would technically be a 20 y/o age gap. But I'm not putting down age gap okay. Love happens in many ways. I'm fine with a certain age gap as long as they are both legal age.

@Kizi1986 @Roule I know it has been hinted at that he knows but I will only consider it if or when he says out loud that he knows she is older. Age gape is an old trope and I trust no one!
In chapter 23 he says: "But you are not a kid." and then "...you are a little bit old on the inside" so I would say he knows quite surely that she is actually older
Yeah and he goes ahead and says "I meant that you're precocious" anyway it's not like I 100% believe he doesn't know I'm just saying I will only accept it when he straights things out with her
